No need for pressurized water source!
The concept of Gravity Drip Irrigation (GDI) has been developed with the purpose of
providing the most economical solution for small-scale
growers. Proper operation of the system will result in higher
yields, saving on water and energy and will provide a simple
method for fertilizer application. Finolex Plasson Irrigation
offers a GDI system which is designed to accommodate different
layouts and purposes. This system is modular and highly
effective.
Integral Driplines : Finolex Plasson Irrigation
has developed a special Ultra Low Pressure (ULP) integral
dripper for low flow irrigation systems such as Gravity
system. The drippers provide uniform flow rates and are highly
resistant to clogging.
Fertilizer application : No need for fertilizer injection
apparatus. Soluble solid fertilizers can be mixed in the water
tank for application.
Filtration : A 130 micron screen filter
provides sufficient protection.
Layout design : Several manifolds can be served sequentially from one water
tank, according to the field layout.
Specifications:
·Inside diameter of driplines : 10.4 mm.
·Wall thickness: 0.65, 0.9 or 1.0 mm.

Important!
- The layout of long driplines has to take into consideration the incline
along the dripline.
- When using a small water storage tank, refilling of the water
volume should be calculated carefully (30 liters for every
100m.dripline).
